Hungarian Translation – Áttekintés

A kötet alkotmányjogi, politikatudományi, szociológiai és összehasonlító módszert alkalmazva elemzi a társadalmi modellváltás folyamatait, amelyek a huszadik század nyolcvanas éveinek végén kezdődtek Kelet- és Kelet-Közép-Európában.
Balogh László több, a hazai szakirodalomban eddig kevéssé kutatott aspektust tár fel, különös tekintettel a kormányformák és választási rendszerek kialakulására a posztszocialista társadalmakban.

A szerző nyolc kelet-közép-európai országot (Albánia, Bulgária, Csehszlovákia/Csehország, Lengyelország, Magyarország, Románia, Szlovákia) és három balti államot (Észtország, Lettország, Litvánia) vizsgál.

Tömören elemzi az 1989-től napjainkig megtartott választások eredményeit is, és ezzel hozzájárul a politikai rendszerváltozás tudományos megértéséhez.
