Overview

Set during the darkest days of World War II in 1943, Enigma is a gripping tale of codebreaking and betrayal at Bletchley Park. When the German military suddenly changes their "Enigma" code, British intelligence is left blind, leaving Allied merchant convoys vulnerable to U-boat attacks. Brilliant but troubled mathematician Tom Jericho (Dougray Scott) is called back to crack the impossible code. However, Jericho is distracted by a personal mystery: the disappearance of his lover, Claire (Saffron Burrows). With the help of Claire’s friend Hester (Kate Winslet), Jericho must solve a double puzzle—cracking the Nazi code while uncovering a potential spy within his own ranks.
