Overview

Oz the Great and Powerful (Óz, a hatalmas) is a spectacular Disney fantasy adventure that serves as a prequel to L. Frank Baum’s beloved Oz stories. Directed by Sam Raimi (Spider-Man trilogy), the film follows Oscar Diggs (James Franco), a small-time circus magician with dubious ethics. When a tornado whisks him from Kansas to the vibrant Land of Oz, he believes he’s hit the jackpot—until he meets three witches: Theodora (Mila Kunis), Evanora (Rachel Weisz), and Glinda (Michelle Williams). They aren't convinced he’s the great wizard everyone’s been expecting. Drawn into an epic conflict, Oscar must use his wits and a bit of "magic" to save the land and become the legendary Wizard of Oz.
