Overview

Bill Murray delivers one of his most iconic performances as Phil Connors, a cynical and arrogant TV meteorologist. While covering the annual Groundhog Day festivities in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, Phil finds himself trapped in a mysterious time loop, forced to relive February 2nd over and over again. What begins as a nightmare becomes a journey of self-discovery, as Phil realizes that he has all the time in the world to become a better person and finally win the heart of his producer, Rita (Andie MacDowell).
