Overview

Strap in for one of the most vertigo-inducing action movies ever made! Cliffhanger (known in Hungary as Függő játszma) stars Sylvester Stallone as Gabe Walker, an expert mountain climber and rescue ranger haunted by a tragic accident where he failed to save a friend's girlfriend. Eight months later, Gabe is drawn back into the mountains to respond to a distress call from a crashed plane.

However, the "survivors" turn out to be a ruthless gang of international thieves, led by the cold-blooded Eric Qualen (John Lithgow), who have lost three suitcases containing $100 million in the Rocky Mountains. Gabe is forced to guide the criminals through the treacherous, snow-covered peaks at gunpoint. It becomes a deadly game of cat-and-mouse where Gabe must use his knowledge of the terrain to survive and stop the villains before they find the loot.
