Overview

English: Tripp (Matthew McConaughey) is 35, charming, and still lives with his parents. And why wouldn't he? It's free, he has a great room, and his mom (Kathy Bates) does his laundry. Desperate to get him out of the house, his parents hire Paula (Sarah Jessica Parker), a professional "interventionist" who specializes in motivating men to finally fly the nest by making them fall in love with her. However, the plan hits a snag when Tripp discovers the secret, and real feelings start to complicate the professional arrangement. This romantic battle of the sexes proves that home is where the heart is—but sometimes you need a little push to find a home of your own.
