Overview

English: America's Sweethearts is a hilarious, star-studded look behind the velvet rope of Hollywood. Gwen Harrison (Catherine Zeta-Jones) and Eddie Thomas (John Cusack) are the world's most beloved movie couple, but behind the scenes, their marriage is a total wreck. With their final film together set for a high-stakes press junket, veteran publicist Lee Phillips (Billy Crystal) has to pull off a miracle: convince the media the couple has reconciled while the eccentric director (Christopher Walken) hides the actual movie. Caught in the middle is Kiki (Julia Roberts), Gwen’s overworked sister and assistant, who has spent her life in the shadows but might finally find her own spotlight—and unexpected love.
