Overview / Áttekintés

English: Set in early 1600s China, Seven Swords tells the story of the Manchu invaders overthrowing the long-ruling Ming Dynasty and establishing the Qing Dynasty. To consolidate their power, the new regime bans martial arts practice and ruthlessly punishes rebels, offering bounties for their capture. A former ruthless military leader from the old regime sees an opportunity for quick wealth under the new law. He and his soldiers march across the country, mercilessly killing anyone who stands in their way. Their final target is Bowei Village, which refuses to submit to the new rulers. The village’s only hope lies in the alliance of seven swordsmen who can protect the people—but only if the villagers leave to safety under their escort. Along the journey, they face numerous dangers and must uncover a traitor among them who signals the enemy.

Hungarian: A 1600-as évek elején Kínában a mandzsu betolakodók megdöntik a régóta uralkodó Ming-dinasztia hatalmát, és megalapítják a Csing-dinasztiát. Az új hatalom a gyors megerősödés érdekében betiltja a harcművészetek tanulását és gyakorlását, és halálbüntetéssel sújtja a lázadókat, miközben pénzjutalmat kínál kivégzőiknek.
