A megszállott zsaru a lány segítségével rettenetes bűntény szálait kezdi felfejteni...

Arlette már nem éppen fiatal, sokat már nem is remél az élettől. Pincérnő egy vidéki étteremben, és vallja: minden úgy jó, ahogy van. Ám egy napon fehér limuzin jön érte, benne az "álomférfi", akinek - láss csodát! - éppen ő kell, mi több, magával akarja vinni Las Vegasba, hogy feleségül vegye. Arlette újjászületik...!
