This publication is intended to reveal the deep organic connection between the texts of the New and Old Testaments. For this purpose, parallel passages taken from the Synodal Bible, Moscow edition of 1890, are significantly supplemented by references to the New Testament from the works of Sts. fathers and teachers of the Church. When studying the Psalter, the “Explanatory Psalter” by Euthymius Zigaben was also used. Inside the Bible itself, published in 1890, in its New Testament part, there were significantly fewer references to the Old Testament than there were counter-references in the Old Testament part to the New Testament. All these parallel passages were analyzed and added to the texts of this edition.

Настоящее издание призвано раскрыть глубокую ор- ганическую связь текстов Нового и Ветхого Заветов. Для этой цели параллельные места, взятые из Синодальной Библии Московского издания 1890 г., значительно допол нены ссылками на Новый Завет из творений свв. отцов и учителей Церкви. При исследовании Псалтири использо валась также «Толковая Псалтирь» Евфимия Зигабена. Внутри самой Библии издания 1890 г., в Новозаветной ее части, ссылок на Ветхий Завет оказалось значительно меньше, чем встречных ссылок в Ветхозаветной части на Завет Новый. Все эти параллельные места были проанали зированы и добавлены в тексты настоящего издания.
