The Apostle Paul of Tarsus, in these days when Religious Tourism is being mentioned frequently, Tarsus gained even more importance with the declaration of 2008-2009 as the Year of the Apostle Paul by Pope Benedict XVI. Many people who still read the Bible today think that Tarsus is in Greece or Israel. We decided to publish this book because we believe that introducing the places where the Apostle Paul was born and visited will introduce our country and make a great contribution to our country in terms of tourism. Therefore, in our book, we have sprinkled pictures from some sections of Anatolia, where Paul traveled and preached the Gospel, between the pages of the book.

Tarsuslu Elçi Pavlus, İnanç Turizminin sıkça telaffuz edilmeye başlandığı bu günlerde, Tarsus, Papa 16. Benediktus tarafından 2008-2009 yılının Elçi Pavlus yılı ilan edilmesi ile daha da önem kazandı. Halen bugün İncil’i okuyan pekçok kişi Tarsus’u Yunanistan ya da İsrail’de olduğunu sanıyor. Pavlus yılı nedeniyle Elçi Pavlus’un doğduğu ve gezdiği yerleri tanıtmanın ülkemizi de tanıtacağına, ülkemize turizm açısından büyük katkı sağlayacağına inandığımız için bu kitabı yayınlamaya karar verdik. Bu nedenle de, kitabımızda Pavlus’un gezdiği ve Müjdeyi duyurduğu Anadolu’nun bazı kesitlerinden resimleri kitabın sayfaları arasına serpiştirdik.
