Hergé's Adventures of Tintin (French: Les Aventures de Tintin, d'après Hergé) is the first animated television series based on Hergé's popular comic book series, The Adventures of Tintin. The series was produced by Belvision Studios and first aired in 1957. After two books were adapted in black and white, eight books were then adapted in colour, each serialised into a set of five-minute episodes, with 103 episodes produced (twelve in black and white and ninety-one in colour).

French Summary:

Les Aventures de Tintin, d'après Hergé, réalisé par Ray Goossens et produit par Belvision dans les années 1960 (1959-1964) est la première véritable adaptation en dessins animés des Aventures de Tintin. Elle regroupe en sept séries d'épisodes huit histoires des albums de Tintin dans une version très différente de ceux-ci.

Dans cette version, le professeur Tournesol n'est pas dur d'oreille et porte des vêtements jaunes et marron (au lieu de son habituel ensemble vert) et les agents Dupond et Dupont portent tous les deux la même moustache (sauf dans l'épisode Objectif Lune). Rastapopoulos et le colonel Sponsz sont les seuls malfrats absents de ces aventures, quoique le colonel Sponsz apparaisse dans l'Affaire Tournesol sous le nom de Colonel Brutel, avec un physique inchangé.

Tintin, az ifjú riporter tengeri utazásán, elválaszthatatlan kutyájával csatlakozik egy különc egyiptológushoz, aki megkéri, hogy segítsen felkutatni egy eltűnt királysírt. A fáraó sírjába történő belépés kalandok lavináját indítja el, mivel tudtán kívül egy kábítószer-kereskedő csoport útjába kerül, melynek vezetője nem akarja, hogy meghiúsítsa bűnös üzelmeit. Tintin azonban szembeszáll a jól szervezett nemzetközi bűnszövetkezettel. . .

"A fáraó szivarjai"-nak folytatásában Tintin az indiai maharadzsánál tölti szabadságát, miközben egy kínai ember érkezik. A férfit eltalálják egy méregbe mártott nyíllal, ami őrültséget okoz.

Cigars of the Pharaoh (French: Les Cigares du pharaon) is the fourth volume of The Adventures of Tintin, the series of comic albums by Belgian cartoonist Hergé. Commissioned by the conservative Belgian newspaper Le XXe Siècle for its children's supplement Le Petit Vingtième, it was serialised weekly from December 1932 to February 1934. The story tells of young Belgian reporter Tintin and his dog Snowy, who are travelling in Egypt when they discover a pharaoh's tomb filled with dead Egyptologists and boxes of cigars. Pursuing the mystery of these cigars, they travel across Arabia and India, and reveal the secrets of an international drug smuggling enterprise.

The Blue Lotus (French: Le Lotus bleu) is the fifth volume of The Adventures of Tintin, the comics series by Belgian cartoonist Hergé. Commissioned by the conservative Belgian newspaper Le Vingtième Siècle for its children's supplement Le Petit Vingtième, it was serialised weekly from August 1934 to October 1935 before being published in a collected volume by Casterman in 1936. Continuing where the plot of the previous story, Cigars of the Pharaoh, left off, the story tells of young Belgian reporter Tintin and his dog Snowy, who are invited to China in the midst of the 1931 Japanese invasion, where he reveals the machinations of Japanese spies and uncovers a drug-smuggling ring.
