English Summary:
Anastasia is a 1997 American animated musical drama film produced and directed by Don Bluth and Gary Goldman in association with Fox Animation Studios, distributed by 20th Century Fox, and starring the voices of Meg Ryan, John Cusack, Kelsey Grammer, Hank Azaria, Christopher Lloyd, Bernadette Peters, Kirsten Dunst, and Angela Lansbury.
In 1916 Saint Petersburg, during a ball celebrating the Romanov tricentennial at the Catherine Palace, Dowager Empress Marie Feodorovna gives a music box and a necklace inscribed with the words "Together in Paris" as parting gifts to her youngest granddaughter, 8-year-old Grand Duchess Anastasia. The ball is suddenly interrupted by Grigori Rasputin, a sorcerer and the former royal adviser to the Romanov family until he was exiled for treason. Seeking revenge, Rasputin sells his soul in exchange for an unholy reliquary, which he uses to place a curse on the Romanovs, sparking the Russian Revolution. As revolutionaries siege the palace, Marie and Anastasia escape through a secret passageway with the aid of 10-year-old servant boy Dimitri. Rasputin confronts the two royals outside on a frozen river, only to fall through the ice and drown. The pair manage to reach a moving train, but, as Marie climbs aboard, Anastasia falls, hitting her head on the platform and subsequently suffering amnesia.
Bartok the Magnificent is a 1999 American direct-to-video animated adventure comedy film directed by Don Bluth and Gary Goldman.[1] It is a spin-off and prequel to the 1997 film Anastasia (also directed by Bluth and Goldman).
Albino bat Bartok arrives in Moscow and makes himself known by performing for the locals. His grand finale involves defeating a grizzly bear. Delighted with Bartok's bravery, the townspeople shower him with gold, including the young czar Ivan Romanov, who gifts Bartok with a royal ring, much to the chagrin of Ivan's assistant Ludmilla. After the show, Bartok counts his earnings and is startled by the stirring bear, revealed to be his business partner Zozi. Although Zozi is apprehensive about the ring, Bartok refuses as it was gifted.
Hungarian Summary:
1916-ot írtak, s a legendás Romanov család a dinasztia uralkodásának háromszázadik évfordulóját ünnepelte. Az ünnepi esemény tiszteletére a cár nagyszabású fogadást rendezett, s a bál legfényesebb csillaga éppen Anasztázia volt. A cári palota fölött azonban sötét felhők gyülekeznek, mert a száműzetéséből Szentpétervárra visszatért Raszputyin bosszút forral.
