English Summary:

DISC 1

Cyborg, also known as Slinger, is a 1989 American martial-arts cyberpunk film directed by Albert Pyun.

A plague known as the living death cripples civilization. A small group of surviving scientists and doctors — located in Atlanta, Georgia, home of the CDC — work on a cure to save what remains of humanity. To complete their work they need information stored on a computer system in New York City. Pearl Prophet volunteers for the dangerous courier mission and is made into a cyborg through surgical augmentation.

Pearl, accompanied by bodyguard Marshall Strat, retrieves the data in New York but is pursued by the vicious Fender Tremolo and his gang of pirates. Fender wants the cure so he can have a monopoly on its production. Strat, badly injured while fighting the pirates, tells Pearl to leave him and find a mercenary, known as a "slinger", who can escort her to safety. She gets cornered but is saved by a slinger named Gibson Rickenbacker. After she explains her situation, they are overrun by Fender's gang, and Gibson is knocked out by falling debris. Fender demands that she accompany him to Atlanta or die.

DISC 2

Double Impact

Business partners Paul Wagner and Nigel Griffith open the Hong Kong Victoria Harbour tunnel. Paul attends with his wife and their twin infant sons, Chad and Alex.

After the celebration, the family is followed home by their bodyguard, Frank Avery, whom they dismiss. Once he leaves, a Triad hit squad follows them. A shootout ensues, in which Paul is killed. Paul's wife begs the Triads to spare the twins but is killed by Moon (Bolo Yeung), the top henchman. Their maid is able to escape with Alex and Frank eventually saves Chad; the maid leaves Alex at a Hong Kong orphanage and Frank raises Chad in France.

25 years later, Chad and Frank are running a successful martial arts business in Los Angeles when Frank reveals a new "business" for the two of them in Hong Kong. The two go to a mahjong parlor and a woman, mistaking Chad for Alex, takes him back to Alex's room. When Alex arrives, he knocks out Chad for being with his girlfriend, Danielle Wilde.

Frank tells them they are brothers and they need to join together to take down Griffith and get their part of the royalties from the tunnel, but both Chad and Alex initially do not get along at first. Alex takes them out on his boat to sell smuggled Mercedes and cigarettes to some Chinese buyers, but the police arrive and Chad dumps the cars to escape faster.

Back in Hong Kong, some thugs kidnap and beat up Chad (mistaking him for Alex) when he refuses to work for their leader, Raymong Zhang. Danielle, who works for Griffith, begins checking his private files for information, but she is being watched closely by Griffith's bodyguard, Kara.

DISC 3

Kickboxer is a 1989 American martial arts film and is the first entry into the Kickboxer franchise.

Kurt Sloane is the younger brother of Eric Sloane, the United States kickboxing world champion. After another successful title defense, Eric is enticed by the media to compete in Thailand, where kickboxing was started, to further establish his legacy. Eric and Kurt travel to Bangkok to fight Tong Po, Thailand's undefeated top fighter. Eric is supremely confident but Kurt is apprehensive, particularly after witnessing Tong Po kicking a concrete pillar to prepare for the fight. Kurt begs his brother not to fight, but Eric dismisses any concerns.

The first round is a one-sided affair in which Po dominates Eric with his superior strength. In between rounds, Kurt once again begs Eric to stop, but Eric refuses to give up and gets beaten badly in the second round. Kurt throws in the towel, but Tong Po kicks the towel out of the ring and continues his assault. He viciously strikes Eric in the back with his elbow, immobilizing him, then rips apart Eric's world championship belt. Kurt retrieves the belt and leaves with his brother on a stretcher, but the fight officials leave them on the street and lock them out of the arena. Winston Taylor, a retired US Army special forces member, agrees to help the pair and drives them to the hospital. As a result of Tong Po's brutal assault, Eric is paralyzed from the waist down and will never be able to walk again.

DISC 4

Lionheart (also known as AWOL and Wrong Bet) is a 1990 action film directed by Sheldon Lettich, starring Jean-Claude van Damme and co-starring Brian Thompson, along with Harrison Page, Deborah Rennard, Lisa Pelikan, and Ashley Johnson.

Lyon Gaultier is in the French Foreign Legion, stationed in Djibouti, North Africa. His brother, who is married to an American woman in Los Angeles, is burned alive during a drug deal gone bad and eventually dies. Lyon deserts his legion when he finds out they have been withholding letters from his brother's wife Helen, which prevented him from seeing his dying brother. He steals a jeep and escapes through the desert, finding work on a tramp steamer headed for the U.S. The Legion Commandant travels to Paris and finds that Lyon's desertion is ranked at low importance with the LAPD, so the Commandant sends two of his own men to bring Gaultier back.

Lyon arrives penniless in New York City and is attracted to an illegal street fight being run by a New Yorker called Joshua. Gaultier steps forward to take part in a fight and destroys his opponent, leaving Joshua astounded. Joshua calls Lyon "Lionheart," based on his unusual name. Joshua takes Lyon to meet a person called Cynthia, also known as 'The Lady,' who organizes underground fights for the rich elite and she decides to sponsor him. Figuring that this would be the best way to earn the money he needs to get to L.A., Lyon fights in no-holds-barred bare-knuckle fights to finance the trip.

Dux is invited to the Kumite, an illegal martial arts tournament in Hong Kong. After his Army superiors refuse to let him go, Dux goes absent without leave, says goodbye to his sensei and leaves for Hong Kong.

A Véres játékkal Jean-Claude Van Damme is diadalmaskodott: Frank megformálásával nemcsak a bajnokság, hanem a nézettségi mutatók élére is felküzdötte magát. Van Damme azóta is megállás nélkül kápráztatja el a nézőket olyan hősök szerepében, akik nem hajlandóak veszíteni. Mikor Van Damme a ringbe lép, a Véres játék nem játék… hanem háború!
