Volker Kessler (1962 in Gummersbach) is a German theologian and evangelical professor at the University of South Africa. He is the director of the Academy of Christian Leadership.

Hungarian Summary:

Az Édenkert óta az emberiség nagy kísértése a hatalom gyakorlásából következő korrumpálódás. Sok keresztény számol be arról, hogy gyülekezetében a hatalmi háló foglyának érzi magát. A Németországban nagy visszhangot kiváltó könyv bemutatja a hatalommal való visszaélés jellegzetes mintáit és az abból kivezető utakat. „A könyv bibliai hűséggel, gyakorlatiasan, a lélektani szempontok figyelembevételével iránytűként segít, hogy vezetők és gyülekezeti tagok a ránk bízott felelősséget komolyan vegyük, felismerjük és megakadályozzuk egyházi közösségeinkben a hatalommal való visszaélést” – állítja Steinbach József püspök, a Magyarországi Egyházak Ökumenikus Tanácsának elnöke.

English Summary:

Since the Garden of Eden, the great temptation of mankind is corruption resulting from the exercise of power. Many Christians report that in their church, they are feel that they are the prisoners of power net. The book that generates great echoes in Germany, shows the typical patterns of abuse of power and the ways out of it. "The book, with biblical loyalty, pragmatic, psychological considerations, helps the leaders and members of the church to take the responsibility entrusted to us seriously, recognize and prevent abuse of power in our church communities," said Bishop József Steinbach, president of the Ecumenical Council of Hungarian Churches.
